Impressions after using ｜ LAVIE Pro Mobile (PM-550 / BAR)
1. Surprisingly light body.
I will write about the usability of this PC, but what surprised me most was the lightness of the main body.
Since the PC I was using before was a 15.6-inch (NEC LaVie LL750 / H), it had a large screen and a built-in optical disk drive, so it was quite heavy in the notebook PC category. ..
The weight "about 889g" after using it was quite different, and I was shocked the moment I held it.
2. The smaller size makes it easier to hit because the key spacing is narrower.
If it is a 13.3 type wide size, there may be no numeric keypad part, so it may take some time to get used to it, but probably because the key spacing has become narrower due to the smaller size, especially for women with small hands It may be easier for you to hit the keys.
I myself felt that it was somewhat easier to type than my previous PC, and I made fewer mistakes when practicing typing.
Anyway, what impressed me most was that it was light and durable, easy to carry anywhere, and easy to use.
3. The vividness and resolution of colors have improved dramatically.
This is just a comparison with the previous PC (product 9 years ago) that I was using, but this time "LAVIE Pro Mobile (PM-550 / BAR)" adopted "intel iRISXe GRAPHICS" I was impressed that the graphics were beautifully expressed.
4. The 11th generation "intel CORE i5" is faster than the past "intel CORE i7"!
I talked to the clerk of Yamada Denki (Fukushima Haramachi store) who purchased this PC about this, but the processing capacity has increased considerably depending on the age (generation) created in the "intel CORE series" with the same specifications. There seems to be.
For my old PC (I don't know the generation ...), I chose "intel CORE i7", purchased it, and used it. I chose "intel i5" this time after hearing the opinion that "the processing power is higher than the one".
It seems that the choice was correct, and I feel that the start-up is quite quick, probably because the processing power is higher than before.
